Cap Metro Bus Driver Assaulted In North Austin

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A Cap Metro bus drivers was assaulted Saturday afternoon as he reached the end of his shift, according to a published report.

A spokesperson for the transit agency told CBS Austin the bus was in the Tech Ridge Park and Ride on the east side of Interstate 35 near West Howard Lane when the incident occurred. The suspect was not detained but asked to leave the premises, the station reported, while the driver required no medical attention.
