Celebrate National Vegetarian Awareness Month At Pflugerville Pfarmer's Market

Fresh and locally grown, veggie options run the gamut, from beans and cucumbers to melons and tomatoes with other fare along the way.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — With October being National Vegetarian Awareness Month, it might be worth taking a trip to the Pflugerville Pfarmer's Market for some nice, fresh veggies.

The farmer's market, um, Pfarmer's market runs weekly through Oct. 31. City officials noted that vendors sell the range of produce there: tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, squash, okra, garlic, melons, peaches and grapes. You also can find artisan baked goods; honey; flowers; eggs; jarred salsas, pickles and jams; fruits and plants.

The produce represents no run-of-the-mill vegetables, but locally grown right here in Pflugerville. We're talking pfresh pfruits, here grown with local pfertilizer by your pfriendly Pflugerville pfarmers. You can even buy some nice pflowers for the wiphe. Ya pfeel me?

The market will return Nov. 7, Nov. 14, and Dec. 5, Dec. 12, for Festive Markets for the holidays. "Hurry to the market this Tuesday to catch one of the final weeks of the season!" city officials urged.
