- On Tuesday, Feb. 22, the Pflugerville City Council "will hold a public hearing to consider the amendments to Chapter 152. Subchapter B Roadway Impact Fees." The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, located at 100 E. Main Street, Suite 500 and "the agenda will be posted 72 hours prior to the public hearing date." The public is invited to "present evidence for or against the proposed amendments." - According to AccuWeather, rain is expected on Monday morning in the North Austin-Pflugerville area, and it's expected to be cloudy and cool. Those that have to commute in the morning are advised to take precautions on the wet roads and leave early to your destinations. - If you're looking for a "warm-weather escape," American Airlines has added new routes from Austin to Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ) and Cozumel, Mexico (CZM) beginning on Saturday, June 11. The 2 new routes "headline the latest round of growth for American" and "represent the 31st and 32nd destinations to be added to the airline's network from Austin since the beginning of 2021, bringing the total number of cities served to 40." - On Saturday, Jan. 22, the annual 'Texas Rally for Life' march was held at Austin's State Capitol. The event commemorated "the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade that ruled women have the right to choose to get an abortion." Anti-abortion supporters "marched from 13th and Brazos in Austin to the south steps of the Texas Capitol" and rallied "in support of banning abortions," while Pro-choice organization Progress Texas stated that "Roe makes abortion services vastly safer and more accessible to pregnant people throughout the country."
