MLK Jr. Day: What's Open, Closed In Pflugerville

NORTH AUSTIN-PFLUGERVILLE, TX -- City government offices in Pflugerville will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther KIng, Jr. Day, along with a number of other municipal services.

Closed on MLK Day, Jan. 18, along with city offices: The Pflugerville Library, animal shelter, and recreation center.

Trash and recycling pickup service will operate during normal hours, however.

City officials urge residents to call the citizen communication hotline if truly in need of assistance during the holiday.

The hotline at (512) 251-4004 is operated by police department personnel.

Naturally, in the event of an emergency, residents should dial 911.
