At their August 10 meeting, City Council held a public hearing on the FY22 Proposed Budget and also approved a maximum tax rate of .4970. This vote did not set the tax rate, but stated that the rate will be at or below .4970. At this proposed rate, the average Pflugerville homeowner with a house valued at $282,434 would pay $1,403.70 in property taxes to the City of Pflugerville. The $30 increase for this homeowner over what they paid the current year supports the implementation of 2020 voter-approved transportation and parks bond projects.
