This Spring, the City received feedback from residents via our 2021 Community Survey on services that should receive the most emphasis over the next two years. Those priorities are reflected in projects throughout our proposed FY22 budget. Read on to find out more, or see our graphic to the right.

Residents said that the number one area of emphasis for the City of Pflugerville is flow of traffic and congestion management on streets. The proposed budget includes $39.93 million in transportation project. For more information on active CIP transportation projects, visit pflugervilletx.gov/projects.
The second-most chosen area of emphasis is maintenance of city streets, drainage and sidewalks. The proposed budget includes phase 2 of our Drainage Master Plan, $2.1 million in street repairs and maintenance and $150,000 for pavement maintenance.

The third area of emphasis was quality of water and wastewater services. The proposed budget includes $62.69 million in water projects and $36.16 million in wastewater projects with more to come in the five-year CIP.
The fourth most important area of focus for our residents is quality of police services. We are continuing to grow our police department with four additional patrol officers and two additional corporals in our proposed budget, reflecting our commitment to invest in personnel.
