'Coffee With A Cop' Scheduled In South Austin
Residents in South Central Austin will be able to interact with their neighborhood police officers in a relaxed setting on Oct. 2.
SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — The next "Coffee with a Cop" gathering is scheduled in South Austin early next month.
Residents living and working in South Central Austin will be able to interact with their neighborhood police officers in a relaxed setting. "We look forward to talking to you about safety concerns and crimes in the area," police wrote on Twitter.
The gathering is scheduled at the Whataburger restaurant off 2305 Burleson Rd. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Residents are able to address concerns to their area police in a relaxed setting or just drop by to shake the hand of an officer safeguarding their neighborhood.
