While the trail will remain open, visiors are urged to practice the tactics of social distancing to help blunt the spread of illness.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Lake Pflugerville Park amenities were closed effective Friday in a step aimed at mitigating spread of the coronavirus, officials said.

The trail and parking on the south and west sides of the park will remain open even as the site's amenities closed beginning at noon. The closure includes the north parking lot, open spaces, playscape, Pflug Fun kayak rentals, boat ramp, fishing piers, pavilion and beach at Lake Pflugerville. Parking is for trail use only, and fishing and boat access will not be allowed from the bank, officials added.

When using the trail, visitors are urged to continue to practice social distancing and properly dispose of all trash. Portable restrooms and hand sanitizing stations will continue to be available.
