Drive-By Shooting Reported In North Austin
Details sketchy, but Williamson County sheriff's office said vehicle sought in connection to incident is black BMW with Michigan plates.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police are seeking a suspect in a drive-by shooting that occurred late Saturday in North Austin that injured a person from the ensuing shattered glass, according to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.
The agency provided some details related to the incident via Twitter: “Drive by shooting occurred in area of Parmer/McNeil,” the agency said in a tweet late Saturday. “Minor injury due to glass from windshield. Believed to be isolated incident and public not at risk. Suspect still at large."
The sheriff's office didn't issue detailed information — including the block number of the incident or the time of the shooting — as law enforcement agencies typically do. The geographical location of the incident was vaguely placed in the area of Parmer Lane and McNeil Drive without the benefit of even a general block number.

Related to the incident, sheriff's officials asked members of the public to be on the lookout for a black BMW with a temporary license plate from Michigan. Anyone seeing this vehicle should call 911 immediately.
