Driver Seriously Injured After Crashing Car Into Austin Home
Man in his 40s slammed into home near Wind River and Angus roads Tuesday night, sustaining life-threatening injuries.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after crashing his vehicle into a home Tuesday night.
The motorist, a man in his 40s,, sustained critical injuries deemed to be life-threatening, according to Austin-Travis County EMS medics. The home the driver crashed into is located near Wind River and Angus roads.
When help arrived, medics found the driver trapped inside his vehicle. He was rushed to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center for treatment, medics said. Austin Fire Department crews arrived on the scene to assess structural integrity of the home. The occupants of the residence were not injured.

It's unclear what may have caused the motorist to slam into the home.
