Elderly Bicyclist Dies After Pflugerville Car Collision
Thi Ho, 88, succumbed to injuries five days after being struck while on a crosswalk near 10th Street and Settlers Valley Drive on Sept. 12.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — An elderly bicyclist who was struck by a vehicle earlier this week in Pflugerville has died, according to a published report.
Thi Ho, 88, was hit on a crosswalk near 10th Street and Settlers Valley Drive at about 7 a.m. on Sept. 12, KXAN reported. He died five days later, according to the report. While police cited "inattention on both sides" in the incident, the station reported, no charges have been filed against the driver who remained on the scene to cooperate with their investigation.
Visitors to a makeshift memorial at the crash site told the news station Ho was something of a community fixture as he rode his bike across the city, waving and smiling at fellow residents during his regular bicycling excursions along nearby walking trails.
