Election Guide: Where to Vote, Hours, Who's on the Ballot in Pflugerville
Two spots on the Pflugerville City Council are up for grabs Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Tuesday, Nov. 3 is Election Day, and Pflugerville residents have some important decisions to make.
The two main votes will be for city council. Both the 3rd and 5th spots on the city council are up for election. For the 3rd spot on the council, incumbent Omar Peña will be challenged by Phil Osars Emia. Mike Heath and Rudy Metayer will be fighting over the vacant 5th seat on the council.

The seat is left vacant due to Victor Gonzalez’ departure after serving the maximum three terms on the council. The city council of Pflugerville has six seats.

Along with voting for the candidates, citizens will also be voting on two propositions in bond elections.
Proposition One will authorize a $10.7 million project to build a new animal shelter for the city. Proposition 2 will issue $9.5 million for street improvements on Weiss Lane.

Polls are open from 7a.m. to 7p.m. Tuesday. The City of Pflugerville has contracted with Travis and Williamson Counties for election services, so voting will take place at County Precinct Voting Locations. Texas law requires that voters present a valid photo identification when voting.

For Pflugerville residents who live in Travis County, follow this link to view a map of polling locations in the county. Registered voters may vote anywhere they see a “vote here” sign in Travis County, even if it is not in their registered precinct.
