Friend Fest Invites Families To Celebrate Austin's Youth
The annual event is hosted by Creative Action who helps young people attain success through arts education programs.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX —Families, friends and neighbors are invited to an afternoon of celebrating friendship with interactive fun for kids and adults as part of the 8th annual Friend Fest hosted by Creative Action on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Creative Action is dedicated to helping young people develop skills for long-term academic, personal, and career success through high-quality, socially and culturally-relevant arts education programs led by professional Teaching Artists.
The family-friendly event will feature live music by Seu Jacinto, crafts (including creative reuse activities), cookie decorating, a special friendship parade, and Creative Action Summer Camp information & discounts. The event is FREE and open to the public. The day's event promises to inspire, and all those who attend will be able to celebrate friendship and support the community's young people.
