As a result, "residents may soon see a $0.96 increase in their monthly trash pickup fees." The city is contracted with Waste Connections, which handles trash collection, and the contract "allows Waste Connections to request fee adjustments to account for changes in operating costs, such as from increased fuel prices." On Tuesday, March 8, the Council will meet again to consider the ordinance once again. For more information visit: (Community Impact Newspaper)
