Good Behavior Could Earn Pflugerville Kids Free Ice Cream

The "Cool Moves" initiative promotes safety this summer by giving children practicing safety measures a free treat.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX -- Starting Monday (June 6), police will be on the lookout to stop young people, but for all the right reasons.

As part of the "Cool Moves" initiative, kids that are spotted being safe over the summer -- looking in both directions before crossing the street, wearing a helmet while bike-riding, walking their bicycles across crosswalks, etc. -- will be rewarded with a ticket for a free ice cream cone.

Partners in the "Cool Moves" undertaking include Dairy Queen, Baskin Robbins, Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers, Andy's Frozen Custard, Chick-fil-A and Pecan St. Station.
