Grand Avenue Parkway, West Pflugerville Parkway Reopened: Police

Drivers had been urged to avoid the area if possible to accommodate an investigation into what may have caused collision.

PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS — The area of Grand Avenue Parkway at West Pflugerville Parkway was reopened on Tuesday morning after a 30-minute closure following a traffic collision, police said.

Investigators alerted to the closure just before 8 a.m. following a car crash at the site, but reopened the stretch roadway about half-an-hour later, according to police text messages..

Motorists initially were urged to avoid the area if possible. Police issued the traffic advisory just before 8 a.m. on Monday, at the peak of the morning rush hour, via a mass text message sent to residents.
