Children looking to go trick-or-treating on Saturday may have to figure out how to work an umbrella into their costumes.

Halloween is still about a week away, but forecast maps on National Weather Service are offering a hint of what’s to come.

As of Monday, there’s a 60 percent chance of rain on Saturday. Witches, beware of melting. It will be fairly warm earlier in the day, with a high of 77 degrees. Showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected throughout the day, so costumes with hoods will be the best bet.

The low is expected to hit around 60 degrees on Saturday night, with scattered showers continuing into the night.

For parents who don’t want their ghosts and goblins to be out past dark, the sun will set at 6:44 p.m.
