Heatherwilde Boulevard Construction To Widen Road to 4 Lanes
The construction project is expected to begin in January and be complete by 2017.
Construction on one of Pflugerville’s over-congested roads may begin as soon as January.
Heatherwilde Boulevard will undergo a series of changes in 2016, most notably a widening from two to four lanes, according to the project’s website. The project, approved by voters in a 2014 bond election, is expected to be complete in 2017.
Drivers can expect to experience some changes during the construction project. Great Basin Avenue and Wilke Ridge Lane will be closed during the early phases of the construction project and a temporary two-way traffic lane will be set up on Heatherwilde Boulevard. However, all business and properties should remain open and accessible.
