Here are the top three stories today in North Austin-Pflugerville:
- Although unemployment is still high due to the pandemic, there are still jobs out there and if you're looking for work, Patch and ZipRecruiter can help you with their weekly "list of the latest local jobs listed in the region." - On Friday, Feb. 11, a new park with a soccer field and a bunch of restaurants called The Pitch opened up at 13000 Harris Ridge Boulevard. The Pitch is part of the Parmer Austin business park, developed by investment firm Karlin Real Estate and designed by Mark Odom Studio and STG Design. It's right next to David's Performance Center, which the city's soccer team uses as their training facility." The park's restaurants are Ranger Burger, Ga Tori and Taco Flats. There are also two bars called San Bar and Corner Kick Bar. In addition, there is "a coffee shop and bakery called Coffee Club." (Eater Austin)
- On Tuesday, Feb. 1, an Ace Hardware store opened at 13450 Research Blvd., Ste. 240, in North Austin.
