Wreck At Key Pflugerville Intersection Prompts Street Closure, Sparks Power Outage

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — A key intersection in Pflugerville was closed Wednesday afternoon following a collision that also left more than two dozen homes without power.

All lanes at the intersection at Grand Avenue at Picadilly and Pflugerville Parkway is closed due to a collision, city officials said. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area.

City officials didn't provide details about the crash, but it's presumed a utility pole was hit given a resulting power outage. About 27 homes were without power in the Cambridge Heights subdivision following the wreck.
