Man Accused Of Child Sexual Abuse In Pflugerville Captured
Michael Lee Lopez, 55, of Wichita, Kansas, had outstanding warrants for alleged sexual abuse of children in Pflugerville and Temple.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — A suspect wanted on multiple charges in Pflugerville has been arrested in Wichita, Kansas, officials said Friday.
Michael Lee Lopez, 55, of Wichita, Kansas, was arrested by the Wichita Police Department’s Exploited and Missing Child Unit at a residence on Friday afternoon, according to a Pflugerville Police Department press advisory.
Lopez had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest by the Pflugerville Police Department for crimes that include continuous sexual abuse of a child, aggravated sexual assault of a child, and indecency with a child by contact, officials said. The charges stem from incidents involving two different children and were reported to have occurred between 2014 and 2017 in Pflugerville and Temple, officials added.

A Travis County District Court Judge set Lopez’s bond at $175,000 and extradition to Travis County has been approved by the Travis County District Attorney’s Office.
"The Pflugerville Police Department wishes to thank all agencies involved in this case," local law enforcement officials wrote in their news advisory.
