Man Allegedly Stabs Someone In North Austin, Reports Self To 911

Jorge Reyes allegedly stabbed a male victim early Wednesday, leaving him with non-life-threatening wounds, and calls to report himself.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A man was arrested early Wednesday after calling 911 to report he had stabbed someone, police said.

Williamson County sheriff's deputies responded to a call from the 9800 block of Copper Creek in Austin about a stabbing, according to a news advisory. Upon arrival, they found the victim with non-life-threatening injuries before being rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.

The suspect was identified as Jorge Reyes. Police said he called the emergency line to report his stabbing of the male victim. The knife believed to have been used in the incident was recovered, and Reyes was arrested without incident.
