Man Dies In North Austin Car Crash
Two were pinned in car at Payton GinRoad/Research Boulevard just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, one victim already dead when medics arrived.

NORTH AUSTIN, TEXAS — A person died in a North Austin traffic collision on Tuesday night, emergency officials confirmed.
The collision occurred at the Payton GinRoad/Research Boulevard service road northbound just before 9 p.m. Upon their arrival, Austin-Travis County EMS medics found two victims pinned to a vehicle, one of whom was already dead at the scene.
The surviving crash victim, a man in his 20s, was rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center with injuries not deemed to be life-threatening. The deceased victim was a man in his 40s, medics said on Twitter.

Drivers were urged to avoid the area in the immediate aftermath of the collision. For motorists already stuck at the scene, medics said they should expect heavy delays as police investigate the crash.
