Man In His 20s Found Dead In North Austin After Hit-And-Run Collision
The man's body was found Wednesday morning along the 3200 block of U.S. 183 South.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A man was found dead near the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in South Austin on Wednesday morning, the apparent victim of a hit-and-run driver.
The man in his 20s was found dead at around 7 a.m. along the 3200 block of U.S. 183 South, according to Austin-Travis County EMS officials.
Evidence at the scene suggested the man had been hit by a vehicle. There's no word if police have any leads toward identifying a suspect who failed to stop and render aid. A portion of U.S. 183 was closed from Ben White Boulevard to McCall Lane to accommodate a police investigation.
