Man Hospitalized After Wreck At I-35/Rundberg Lane In Northwest Austin

A man in his 20s was rushed to University Medical Center Brackenridge with non-life-threatening injuries after multi-vehicle collision.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A man ended up in the hospital after after a multi-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon that also involved a semi-trailer in the northwest part of the city.

The wreck occurred along Interstate 35 and Rundberg Lane at about 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Police were forced to close off the stretch of highway while they cleared the scene.

An unidentified male victim in his 20s was rushed to University Medical Center Brackenridge, but his injuries were not deemed to be life-threatening, accoding to Austin-Travis County EMS officials.

Three other people involved in the collision declined treatment, medics said.
