Man Injured In North Austin Trench Collapse
Incident at 10041 Lake Creek Parkway just past midnight occurred as Austin Water Utility crews were repairing a water line.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A man was rescued from under a collapsed trench in the northwest portion of the city early Thursday.
Emergency crews responded to 10041 Lake Creek Parkway just past midnight Thursday to rescue the victim, whose leg was trapped under the trench. The man in his 30s had to be dug out before being rushed to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred when an Austin Water Utility crews were repairing a water line, officials said.
