Man Killed In North Austin After Driving His Car Into Abandoned Building
Man in his 20s was ejected from his vehicle in the early morning hours Monday, and was pronounced dead at the scene, medics said.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A youthful driver was killed early Monday morning after slamming his car into a building in North Austin, officials said.
The motorist, a man in his 20s, crashed into an abandoned gas station on Justin Lane at North Lamar Boulevard at around 5:30 a.m., according to Austin-Travis County EMS medics. The man was ejected from the car and died on the scene, medics added.
The southbound lanes of North Lamar Boulevard were closed for some time after the crash to accommodate emergency personnel at the scene, and were re-opened at around 10 a.m. on Monday. It's unclear what may have caused the driver to crash into the building.
