Man Killed In North Austin Wreck
Wreck along 10400 block of Interstate 35 near Braker Lane just before 4 a.m. was the second multi-vehicle accident in as many days.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A man was killed in a multi-vehicle traffic accident in North Austin that also sent two more crash victims to the hospital on Sunday.
The wreck along the 10400 block of Interstate 35 near Braker Lane just before 4 a.m. shut down a portion of the highway for hours as police investigated and crews cleared the scene. Two other patients were transported to the Round Rock Medical Center for treatment of their injuries while the third person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident marked the second multi-vehicle wreck to occur in as many days along I-35, with the first taking place near Wells Branch Parkway on Saturday along the 14800 block of the roadway. In that incident, 1 adult male and 1 adult female were transported to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center with injuries deemed serious but non life threatening.
