Man On Scooter Dies In North Austin Collision
Police say the 25-year-old man was traveling southbound on North Lamar Boulevard early Sunday before veering onto oncoming traffic.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A man driving a scooter was killed early Sunday after a head-on collision with oncoming traffic in North Austin.
Police said the 25-year-old was traveling southbound in the 10700 block of North Lamar Boulevard when he veered onto the opposite lanes of traffic before being struck by a vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene after police arrived at around 1:20 a.m.
All North Lamar Boulevard lanes were temporarily blocked following the crash before being re-opened to accommodate emergency first responders.
