Man Shot At North Austin Apartment Complex

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A man was rushed to the hospital in serious condition Wednesday afternoon after being shot in North Austin, according to a report.

Austin-Travis County EMS officials told the Austin American-Statesman the man was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center after being shot at Lamar Place Apartments, 6309 Burns St., just before 5 p.m. A caller to police said two shots had been fired, according to police.

The man is being treated for injuries that, while serious, are not considered to be life-threatening, according to EMS officials.
