Manor School Placed On Lockdown Following Fight Between Principal, Student
In the end, one student was arrested for assault and another five with interference in fight that began when a student was denied bus entry.

MANOR, TX -- A huge fight Wednesday at the Manor ISD alternative school led to a campus lock-down, the arrest of several students and injuries sustained by the principal.
Manor ISD officials said the disturbance occurred at around 1:30 p.m.. As a precaution, the campus was placed on lock-down for about 30 minutes.
CBS Austin provided a blow-by-blow account of the incident that began with a benign disagreement between a principal and a student. By the time police arrived at the scene of the Manor Alternative Placement campus, school staff had Osifo Cameron, 17, restrained on the ground.

Police described how, as they began to arrest Cameron, five other students interfered and also were placed in detention. The other students were identified as Javon Clark, 18; Alexis Rosales and Janishi Coleman, both 17; and two 15-year-old minors.
As reported by CBS Austin, the incident began after the arrival of a school bus to take students to lunch. Telling Cameron he wasn't allowed to board the bus, MAP Principal Marcus Jones stood in the doorway to prevent the student's entry, the station reported.

That's when the trouble began, as the confrontation got physical and the student allegedly began to throw punches, according to CBS Austin. The principal was subsequently evaluated by medics, but sustained only minor injuries not requiring hospitalization.
Cameron has been charged with assault on a public servant, while the other students were charged with interference with public duties. The campus was eventually deemed safe, and classes resumed as normal after the brief lock-down, the news station reported.
