More Than 12 Pets Die In North Austin Fire
The heavy fire erupted at 12315 Bedrock Trail extended to a neighboring house before firefighters extinguished it.

AUSTIN, TX — More than a dozen pets died in a house fire in North Austin on Thursday afternoon, officials said.
The heavy fire erupted at 12315 Bedrock Trail, officials reported via Twitter just before 2 p.m. Although no human injuries were reported, fire officials said more than a dozen animals died in the blaze.
The force of the conflagration was such that it extended to the house next door, fire officials said. Neither the cause of the fire nor the monetary damage resulting from the blaze were immediately known.
