More Than 200 Stuffed Toys Donated To Pflugerville Police

PFLUGERVILLE, TX - The Pflugerville Police Department is doing its part to bring smiles to kids in need this holiday season thanks to the kind, generous donations from the community. The many contributions are all part of the department's participation in the Blue Santa program.

On Tuesday, one good Samaritan donated more than 200 stuffed toys to the police department. Photos taken by the police department show officers hauling in more than 10 large bags filled with toys into the station.

"We’re so thankful for all the generous donations we’re receiving!" the police department posted on its official Facebook page.

Blue Santa is a joint effort of the Pflugerville Police Department and the citizens of Pflugerville aimed at providing holiday support for families in need.

If you would like to participate in the program, simply donate new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items at Blue Santa donations bins located at the Pflugerville Justice Center, city hall, recreation center and other area businesses, schools and organizations.

Every year, the program provides gifts for children ages 10-14 and infants up to two years of age.
