Motorist Killed In North Austin After Crashing Into Tree
A man believed to be in his 30s pronounced dead at the scene in collision that occurred Friday evening.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A motorist was killed after crashing into a tree Friday evening, emergency officials said.
The collision occurred just before 5:30 p.m. along the 7100 block of North Lamar Boulevard, according to police. The victim, a man believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene, Austin-Travis County EMS officials said.

Police shut down two of the three northbound lane of Lamar Boulevard as they investigated the scene.
