New Pflugerville Grocery Store To Host Hiring Event

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — ALDI, the grocery store chain, is staging a hiring event at its new store in Pflugerville next week.

Known for offering wages and benefits that are higher than the national average for the retail industry, ALDI, will host a hiring event on Monday, Nov. 27, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Opportunities within ALDI include Store Associate positions, officials said.

The hiring event is in support of the ongoing growth of ALDI in the area, offering customers the ALDI brand promise of high-quality grocery items at impossibly low prices, according to officials.

When: Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Where: ALDI 1415 FM 685, Pflugerville, TX 78660

Positions: Store Associate - $12.35 per hour (increases to $12.70 after 7 months and $13.10 after 13 months)

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Drug screening and background check.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds.
