New Pflugerville Police Officers Slated To Be Sworn In
The nine new officers represent the police department's largest graduation class to date, officials said.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Pflugerville Police Department Chief Jessica Robledo is scheduled to swear in members of the force's largest graduating class next Friday.
The nine newly minted officers will be sworn in at the Pflugerville Justice Center, 1611 E. Pfennig Lane, at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 12. The graduation ceremony will recognize Pflugerville’s nine officers who finished the Capital Area Council of Governments academy and then completed 11 weeks in the PPD mini academy, officials said.
The mini-academy prepared officers to serve Pflugerville residents through physical training and education regarding policies and procedures, officials explained. Graduates will receive their badges and move on to the field training officer program for approximately 12 weeks. During this time, they are teamed up with experienced officers and are evaluated on their performance.
