The death was originally ruled suspicious after Dyer’s neighbor found her body Monday night. When a crime scene unit searched the home they found blood, overturned furniture and pieces of what looked to be a rifle stock throughout the house, police said.
Mark Rangle, a next-door neighbor, said that he knew both Waguespack and Dyer and that he heard a commotion coming from the house.
“It’s just crazy, I never knew something like that would happen; they were nice people,”Rangel told KXAN. “I never knew he would do such a thing like that. I had a good friend relationship with both of them.”
