No Foul Play Suspected After Skeletal Remains Fund Near UT-Austin
Bones found some nine miles from main campus on West Pickle Research Campus were at an area known for transient camping.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — There appear to be no signs of foul play centered on skeletal remains found near the University of Texas at Austin campus, officials said.
The bones were found some nine miles north of the university's main campus, according to police. Law enforcement officials have noted the patch of wooded Northwest Austin land on which the remains were found has historically been a site for transient camping on the West Pickle Research Campus, police said.
The remains' decay indicate the skeletal remains have been there for a prolonged period of time, police said. As such, there is no evidence of foul play or an ongoing threat to the public, police have conveyed.
