No Lights No Lycra Austin Lets You Experience Music In The Dark

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — If you're looking to kick off your week on a high note, you won't want to miss No Lights, No Lycra Austin (NLNL), a weekly judgement-free, substance-free, high impact dance party in the dark. This DJ night is not your typical dance fest, it invites attendees to enjoy a dark room with plenty of space for you and your friends to experience the music. NLNL originated in Australia a decade ago, and the fun trend found its way to Austin where it has become a hit.

The event is scheduled on Monday, Feb. 17 from 8:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. at Guan Yin Tea House located at 4706 North Interstate Highway 35, Austin, TX 78751. Resident DJ Brian Blackout and a rotating cast of guest DJs play a wide-ranging mix of genres: indie, electropop, synthpop, disco, dusty rock + R&B records, regular funk, future funk, synthwave, new wave, many other waves, and much more. Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably and bring water, the event is a workout that won't disappoint.
