North Austin Bank Robbery Suspect Sought

Suspect tied to Saturday, June 30, robbery at the IBC Bank branch, 12625 N IH-35 northbound.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police are seeking the public's help in locating a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred in North Austin over the weekend.

The incident occurred just before 1:20 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, at the IBC Bank branch, 12625 N IH-35 northbound. The suspect approached the teller, handed her a note and demanded money before leaving on foot. He was last seen walking towards the adjacent Sears building. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a:

  • Dark-skinned male;
  • 30 to 40 years old;
  • 5’ 0” to 5’3” tall;
  • heavyset.

The suspect was last seen wearing:

  • Camouflage button-up shirt;
  • tan shorts;
  • dark baseball cap with no writing or design;
  • flip-flop shoes
