AUSTIN, TX — Police on Friday identified the two people who were found dead of gunshot wounds this week in what appears to be a murder-suicide case stemming from domestic violence.
Reports of a shooting on Monday, Nov. 4, led police to an apartment at 2018 W. Rundberg Lane just before 8:10 p.m., officials wrote in a press advisory. Upon arrival, medics found Amira R. Mahler, 23, and Travis Dean Ford, 28, dead of gunshot wounds, police said.
