North Austin Drug Bust Yields Narcotics, Cash

Search warrant along 9200 block of Bladen Springs Cove yields more than 3 pounds of pot, mushrooms, more than $70K and more.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Sheriff's deputies on Monday led a search warrant that yielded more than three pounds of marijuana and copious amounts of other narcotics and cash in a drug bust operation.

At about 7 a.m. on Monday, the Organized Crime Unit Special Tactics and Response (STAR) Team and other units at the Williamson County Sheriff's Office joined members of the Hutto Police Department Street Crimes Unit in executing a search warrant along the 9200 block of Bladen Springs Cove in Austin.

The drug bust yielded the following:

  • 3.2 pounds of marijuana.
  • 11.9 grams of THC "wax."
  • 2.8 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms.
  • 22 vials of THC Oil (containing 21.83 grams of liquid THC oil).
  • $71,562 in cash.

Jeffery Stahursky subsequently was arrested for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and delivery of marijuana. Also arrested was Daniel Stahursky for possession of a controlled substance. “Let this serve as a reminder to all drug-related criminals that the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is committed to ridding drugs in our county,” Sheriff Robert Chody said in a prepared statement.
