NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car in North Austin on Thursday morning.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was hit on East Anderson Lane and Norwood Park Boulevard at around 8:40 a.m., according to Austin-Travis County EMS medics. He was taken to Dell Seton with critical, life-threatening injuries before succumbing to his injuries.
No further details were provided. It's unclear if the driver stopped to wait for police to arrive or if any charges are pending against the motorist.
