Amid substantial rainfall, area around Parmer Lane and Amberglen Boulevard and Metric Boulevard near Rundberg Lane lose power.

NORTH AUSTIN, TEXAS — Power was restored to about 2,000 homes in North Austin late Monday morning after a damaged utility pole was replaced, officials said.
The outage occurred at around 8 a.m. when the pole was damaged in the area around Parmer Lane and Amberglen Boulevard in northwest Austin — leaving some 2,000 customers without electricity for a couple of hours — utility officials said via Twitter.
