North Austin Shooting Leaves Man Injured

Victim admitted into hospital as police arrived at the scene refused to cooperate with police to aid their investigation.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A North Austin shooting left a man injured on Sunday afternoon, police said.

Police responded to a call of shots being fire along the 800 block of Rundberg Lane near Lamar Boulevard, the Austin American-Statesman reported. As police investigated the scene, a man suffering a gunshot wound was admitted to an area hospital, according to the report. While the man was uncooperative in the police investigation, investigators were able to link him to the shooting, the newspaper reported.

The man sustained injuries that were not deemed to be life-threatening. Police have not placed anyone in custody in connection to the shooting, police said.
