North Austin Traffic Collision Leaves 9 People Injured
Crash along the 4500 block of North Interstate 35 southbound yields range of injuries, including man with critical, life-threatening ones.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Nine people were hurt in a traffic collision on Wednesday in North Austin, with three of them transported to the hospital — one of them sustaining critical, life-threatening injuries.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics evaluated nine patients, transporting three of them to Dell Seton Medical Center after a crash along the 4500 block of North Interstate 35 southbound that occurred just after 4 p.m.
One adult male crash victim sustained critical injuries that were deemed to be life-threatening, medics disclosed via Twitter. Another man suffered injuries that, while serious, were not considered life-threatening, while a woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries, medics added.

It's unclear what caused the collision. The wreckage caused lane closures, with motorists in the area experiencing heavy delays in travel as a result.
