North Austin Two-Car Collision Results In Major Traffic Delays
Two cars slammed into a pole near North Lamar Boulevard and West Yager Lane early Friday afternoon, leading to victim's hospitalization.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A two-vehicle collision requiring emergency workers to extract a man from his car occurred Friday afternoon in North Austin.
The incident involving two cars slamming into a pole happened just after 1 p.m. in the area near North Lamar Boulevard and West Yager Lane, officials at Austin-Travis County EMS said via Twitter. A man involved in the crash was extracted from his vehicle before being rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment of injuries deemed serious but not life-threatening.
The incident created major traffic delays at the site while the accident scene was being investigated by law enforcement officials and cleared by work crews.
