North Interstate 35 Lanes At William Cannon Drive To Close

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Transportation officials have alerted motorists to an upcoming road closures.

Northbound I-35 main lanes at the William Cannon Drive exit will be closed on Friday, May 11, from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m., and southbound I-35 main lanes will be closed on Saturday, May 12, from 11 p.m. to 10 a.m., weather permitting.

During the closures, I-35 main lane traffic will be detoured to the frontage roads at William Cannon Drive. The William Cannon Drive bridge will be closed both nights beginning at 9 p.m., and traffic will be detoured south to Slaughter Lane or north to Stassney Lane.
