One Dead, Others Injured In Four-Car Collision Northwest Of Downtown Austin
A man in his 60s or 70s died at the scene at another man in his 20s was rushed to the hospital with potentially serious injuries.

TRAVIS COUNTY, TX — A man was killed in a four-car collision near Jonestown Tuesday morning, medical officials said.
The crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. in the 18800 block of FM 1431, Austin-Travis County EMS officials said. The site is in Jonestown at the north end of Lake Travis, some 19 miles northwest of Austin.
A man believed to be in his 60s or 70s was pronounced dead at the scene, EMS medics said. The man's name has yet to be released.

All told, medics tended to five victims, including another man in his 20s with potentially serious injuries rushed to Round Rock Medical Center for evaluation, medics said. Three other victims declined treatment, officials said.
