Pedestrian Killed In North Austin After Being Hit By Bus
Man in his 30s, was struck at around 11:30 p.m. along the 1000 block of East St. John's Avenue, near the intersection with Carver Avenue.

NORTH AUSTIN, TEXAS — A pedestrian was killed late Thursday in a crash involving a Capital Metro bus, police said.
The collision occurred at around 11:30 p.m. along the 1000 block of East St. John's Avenue, near the intersection with Carver Avenue, Austin-Travis County EMS medics conveyed on Twitter. The victim, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The area around the crash was closed off to traffic into early Friday morning as investigators surveyed the scene. No further details were immediately available early Friday.
